Unicoi County High School Cafeteria, Erwin, TN DIRECTIONS:
Traveling North from Asheville, NC, on route 19/23, now I-26, take exit 19, turn right. Traveling South from Johnson City, TN, on Interstate 181 south, now I-26, take exit 19 and turn left. At the red light, turn right on South Main Street. Go through 5 red lights, and then turn left on to Love Street. Continue on Love Street traveling 4 red lights bearing right on Okolona Drive in front of the Unicoi County Health Department. Travel past the back of the Vocational School and the next building is the High School immediately on your right. Park in the lot right in front of it and enter main doors. WATCH FOR SIGNS SHOW AND SALE:
The show will feature all pottery made in the Erwin, Tennessee area Past and Present! Admission is free to the public! This is a great opportunity to exhibit, buy, sell, or trade pottery made in the Erwin, TN area. Four $25.00 shopping sprees will be awarded as door prizes at 1:30 pm; winners must be present to win! Come visit with Mrs. Thelma Garland, talented artists who worked at the pottery, Thelma will demonstate her work on greenware. Come visit with other collectors, be educated about the Erwin area potteries, take that special piece home and see how local artisans are continuing pottery production in the area today!
Tables are $20 each. 1 free table per Club membership, so come and join the Cash Family Pottery/Clinchfield Artware Collectors Club,additional tables $20 each. Deadline for receipt of table reservation is May 01, 2008 (In order to have everyone a table please request by this day). Please see Vendor’s agreement for other details. Set-up will follow the Club business meeting, on Friday evening, till 10 pm. AUCTION:
The annual club auction will begin at 2:00 PM on Saturday May 24, 2008. This is an absolute auction. The Club is accepting donations or individuals may sell their items with the Club receiving 20% commission. The Club will auction off previous souvenir pieces as available. COLLECTORS’ CLUB MEETING:
The Club Meeting will be conducted Friday night, May 23, 2008 at 7:00 PM in the UNICOI COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL, Cafeteria, and Erwin, TN. This organization provides an opportunity for collectors to network, learn together, and promote the hobby. We welcome your membership and input! Annual dues for Club membership are $10.00 per individual. A family membership is available for $15.00. To reserve booth space, join the club or renew dues, make checks payable to Cash Family Pottery Club. Send to:
