Summer Camp Each summer, Troop 40 attends a week-long summer camp. The boys have a chance to work on skills in a wide variety of areas. If the time is used wisely, a Scout can earn several merit badges during the week.
This year (2008) we will be attending the same summer camp that we did last year - Camp Ingawanis Boy Scout Camp near Waverly, Iowa.
In 2005 and 2006, we went to Ransburg Scout Reservation in Bloomington, Indiana.
In past years (2002, 2003, 2004), we went to the Napowan High Adventure Base , near Wild Rose, Wisconsin.
Cost for 2008 will be $230 per Scout, $65 for Adults. We may have to adjust the cost somewhat for fuel prices.
More details will be provided to Scouts before Summer camp.
