WCBA  Competition  Entries

 

 

1   Entries for Warwickshire competitions should be sent to the Tournament Secretary:  Mr PIP WHITEHOUSE, 27 Northdown Road, Solihull, B91 3LY, Tel:  0121 704 9287

 

2   Fees and table money will be payable at the event, unless otherwise stated.            

 

3  Competitors are reminded that they must be paid up members of WCBA and the EBU for all events (except the Introductory Pairs and other specified events).

 

WARWICKSHIRE CBA COMPETITIONS

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

 

1   Entries will only be accepted from paid-up members of WCBA and the EBU unless otherwise stated.

 

2   No player may enter or play for more than one team or pair in any competition, or play in more than one heat of any competition, except as provided in the League and League Handicap Knockout rules.

 

3   Teams may consist of 4, 5 or 6 players, 4 of whom must be entered and paid for with the initial entry.  Any additional players must be registered and paid for before the final, or before the team’s second match for the Goodman Cup.

 

4   A player or players who qualify from a heat but fails to attend the final without reasonable notice or an acceptable explanation will be barred from playing in the equivalent event in the following year.

 

5   Unless otherwise stated all competitions are played under the EBU Level 3 licence, except for the Goodman Cup, the Premier Division of the Invitation Pairs and the Warwickshire League, which are played under EBU Level 4 Licence, and the Newcomers Pairs which is Level 2.

 

6   Master Points at County Level are issued for all events and Green Points are awarded to the leading teams or pairs in the WCBA Teams (Goodman) and Pairs Championships.
