TRL is seeking to place the
technology with organizations that have the necessary manufacturing and
marketing capabilities to bring it to fruition as useful energy products. We
cannot over emphasize the potential importance of a practical energy storage system
to the drive for alternative sources of energy and conservation in general.
Prototypes for test and evaluation can be
available for those who wish to commercialize the system. These engineering
prototypes will be configured as close as possible to application
specifications that are provided to us. Initial units will probably be confined
to the 10 to 100 watt output ranges to facilitate low cost and rapid delivery.
Energy capacity (operating time) would be limited only by the size of liquid
reservoirs employed.
Single cells, both static and full flow
configurations can also be available for laboratory performance study to those
who are interested in directly exploring their behavior for potential
application or manufacturing possibilities.
