Signed and one of a kind!!!!!!

All of my sculptures & stuffed toys are completely hand made, Many are similar but I do not work from patterns so each is unique and really sort of make themselves :)!  I try to recycle materials; and use only natural material!  I have been inspired by Steiff.  I am happy to discuss making a special custom soft sculpture or stuffed toy for you - simply e-mail me and let's talk!

Here is "Hissy" cat.   Fashioned after a Steiff arched back cat made around 1908. Made of vintage black velvet, soft & excelsior stuffed, wire in tail and limbs if you want to pose him in another way, glass eyes(he also comes with a small ribbon w/tiny bell-not in picutre).  He is ~11" at the top of his tail. This exact Hissy is sold out but I do have several other now at More hissing cats and bats

This Little fella is made of velvet and mohair with glass eyes over felt accent, floss stitched claws, nose and mouth with a bit of felt for the little nose too, and velvet ears.  He is soft and excelsior stuffed has a wire posable tail and a bit of black airbrushed on the white mohair. He is still a baby so has big, funny, feet!  He measures almost 9" long and he does not even stink LOL!!!             He can be yours for an adoption fee of $165.00

Here is "Willie" the juvenile possum!  He is made of mohair, excelsior stuffed, with wire jointed back limbs for total posability!  He also has a jointed head. His tail is alos wired for absolute prehensile strength :) He has glass eyes and floss stitched claws, nose and mouth. He is about 10" long from nose tip to rear end.  He can hang around at your house for $165.00

This is Lily the albino rat.  she is made of white mohair with a squeak voice.  she has albino style glass eyes, pink floss nose, mouth, and claws, with felt limbs, tails, and ears. Even her little pink paw pads are detailed in on the bottoms of her feet! She is almost 9" long NOT including her tail. she also has fishing line whiskers! She is very realistic and needs a new mouse hole. Adopt her at $145.00

This is my version of Sparkplug from the old comic strip with Barney Google.   He is inspired by the version that Steiff made.  I did not put "Spark Plug" on his blanket as I am not sure about copyrights. My fella is made of gray mohair as Steiff made two styles one in a black and one in a tan---I CAN MAKE LARGER OR OTHER COLORED MOHAIR VERSIONS IF YOU LIKE THIS GUY BUT WANT SOMETHING A BIT LARGER OR IN A DIFFERNT COLOR OR WHAT HAVE YOU-JUST WRITE ME!---He has felt open mouth with felt tongue, felt ears,  and bottom of hooves. He has removable blanket and halter.  He is excelsior stuffed with glass "googlie" eyes (white with black off center pupil)  He is about 5 1/2" tall.  Bring him home to your stable for $145.00

Chuck has gone to his new barn but I am happy to make other horses, unicorns etc.!  This fella was done in regular plush with mohair tail and mane. He has a removable handmade rope halter, glass eyes and hard clay style hooves with realistic frog etc. found on the hoof!

This is "Gone Fishin'" made from an old beaver coat, with clay claws and suede pads and inner ears and eye accents. Glass eyes, clay nose, suede/painted trout w/real rocks, plants etc. and suede stuffed banks.  He is also wire posable but I think he looks neat in this pose :) Aprox. 15" x 7" Asking: $325.00

Following are just two examples of custom-made to spec. orders:

	This was a custom made request item---a Jackalope ---made to the speicfications given by the customer (they wanted it to look cute yet still be a taxidermy type item -a "mount" to hang on the wall!).
	This ted was made to replicate an item owned by the customer when she was a baby---he was made from a picture and description from the customer! LET ME KNOW YOUR CUSTOM SPECIFICATIONS!

Now I know some of these are priced high--it's only for two reasons---MANY hours go into making these & it is hard for me to part with them once complete-but make me an offer I cannot refuse if you really like any of the items featured here or on any of my websites, whether I made them or someone else did!  

This is "Gatekeeper" on a real rock, holding AND guarding real amethyst crystals, jewel eyes, pipe cleaner bendable wings covered in suede, and bendable claws, features all suede.   Asking $285 aprox. 15" x 9"

"Bird on a Rock"  Here in Colorado, when you drive in the Mountains,  you will see lots of trees like this: Roots showing, clinging to the rock and birds fluttering to land around them!!!!! This is more colorful than looks here and the bird even has little pink feather highlights -ON a real CO rock! made of stuffed suede & suede scrap accents. Asking $ 85

"Crane Family" This sculpture is sold -it was done as a request and depicts an entire real human family as cranes--although it is hard to see there are 4 juveniles -one even in the nest below the parents of this Sandhill Crane family! As you  can see the oldest of these siblings is just coming into the beautiful red/black neck coloring!

Nessie is for sale for $135 She is German mohair and glass eyes, leather on  tail tip, flippers, underside and "ears" -wire posable armature

Here is "Birdie" He is kind of a cross between and Emu and an Ostrich, all suede and leather with posable legs and wings. About 6" tall asking $45

"Ship 'o' Snails" Inspired by Steiff and because I had these neat shells to do something with! The snails themselves are stuffed suede with different types of eyes and antennea.  This item can sit on a table or be hung. Aprox. 14" x 6" (internet pic not a good rep!) Asking $115

This is Erica the Bat--totally inspired by Steiff's Eric the bat.  Made from an old rabbit fur coat, suede and pipecleaner limbs.  Bead eyes. Have her hang in your attic for $85! I do have several other bats now too at More hissing cats and bats scroll down from the cats to the bats :)

Slowly Sandy moves along the earth but steadily she always wins the race! -made of a real shell and suede, with plastic google eyes-about 41/2" $20--SANDY IS SOLD BUT I CAN MAKE ANOTHER AT YOUR REQUEST!   & if you'd like a small snail in specific colors or using a shell you have, e-mail and let's talk!

Eek!!!!!  This is Little Scorp - A great gift for those "stinging" friends of yours! :)  Tail posable and complete with copper stinger! All limbs are also posable.  About 5-6" All suede $35
