Eva Minemar Eva Minemar attended California Institute of the Arts, where she was nominated for an Irene Ryan Award for her direction of the original work, Lemon Meringue Trash. Soon after returning home to New York and graduating Circle in The Square, she became Artistic Director of the Lower East Side Landmark, Piano Store Theatre. There she proudly produced and directed the critically acclaimed Angry Jellow Bubbles, which has featured over eighty women in more than thirty theatres globally, including performances at festivals in Edinburgh, Toronto, San Francisco, Vancouver, Philadelphia, Montreal, and for Comedy Central at the Hudson Backstage in Hollywood. Her work with the Bubbles won her the 2006 Women in Theatre Red Carpet Award for providing opportunities and support for women in the theatrical arts. In addition, AJB was the sole show chosen to perform at the United Nations for International Woman's Day. Ms. Minemar has directed six one-woman shows, including her own Off-Broadway, one-woman show Who are the People in Your Neighborhood. Other directing credits include, Alan Ball's “Made for a Woman", Franco D'Alessandro's, "Before and After," a tragedy based on the events of 9/11 at NBC's HERE Performance Space NYC, "The Dream" by Mark Daly at Ensemble Studio Theatre, the hundred year old controversial Jewish classic God of Vengeance (LA Weekly Recommended) and “Roman Night’s” at The Italian Cultural Center. Hush marks Eva Minemar’s first short film directing debut. She was honored to be part of San Diego’s Film Festival Women Filmmaker’s Series where the film debuted in September 07’and is excited to continue making films that inspire dialogue on the misconceptions or "open invitations" to monstrous acts such as domestic abuse, date-rape, and sexual assault. "The ensemble is directed, choreographed, and conducted by Minemar, who conceived the piece with sharp focus. The topic is treated with respect, intelligence, and piercing honesty...The production is raw and true. It succeeds because it does not fear failure." -- Backstage

"Eva Minemar's direction is a shining example of import through vivid imagery." -- Melissa Anelli, Theatre Reviews Limited

"The bottom line is this is quality theater on any level and if "Bubbles" is any indication of things to come from Eva Minemar...we should all be lining up to buy tickets." --Timothy Reinke, The New York Hangover
