I stayed numerous times at the Lamp Post BB while my son was attending Franciscan University and I was never more pleased, happy and contented as I was with this BB. The Duncans' are fantastic people as they are a very loving, caring, and Christian couple. Peg was always concerned with my trips down and back (12 1/2 hrs.) as I have physical problems and she knew the difficulties involved in the long trip. I would RECOMMEND them MOST HIGHLY!!!!! They can see this recommendation.

This was our first time at The Lamp Post - but it will NOT be our last. We had a great time...very personable hosts and delicious food. Unique. The location is great - one mile from freeway that took us everywhere. Already booking for November.

This was the first time we stayed at a B&B and we hope they are all like this. If you are within 50 miles of Steubenville, Ohio, it's worth the drive for the overwhelming graciousness of the owners. We had our children (1&3), and my husband's parents. They were so accommodating to our needs. Such a peaceful, restful, place to stay. My son is allergic to milk, and despite that Peggy made awesome breakfast's each morning to accommodate us. We want to go back to Ohio just to stay there again. We give it a ***** star rating!!
