Stoxpics - The Site
was created in October 2005 and was designed
to show some of the things I'd collected from watching
stox in the 70's and 80's and to show some of my photos
off as well. I wasn't much good a building webpages then
so it was all a bit pants. Soon I ran out of space, so
I needed to learn more about webpages and quickly, and
the finished product is here.
As the name suggests it's more about
pictures than anything else, and most of them are around
the 100k mark, this makes them good quility and a reasonable
size so it's best to have a broadband connection. If you're
on dial up you might have to wait a short time for each
page to load, but it shouldn't be a problem. Like the
webpage I hope my photos are getting better as time goes
on.
The "Links" page hopefully has
something a bit different to have a look at. There's a Rebels
page for no other reason than I like them. I'm also getting
some of the Heritage cars on the site, that's because they
are the cars I used to watch and I love em, if you visit
YouTube there are some videos to watch just type in "Stoxpics"
and it should take you there.
It's all 100% unofficial and some of the
information is gained from outside sources, so while I try
my best to keep the site up to date and error free, from
time to time errors may happen (sorry), so if you do decide
to travel to a meeting It's important to check
with the track first!
