Reception for Bishop Antoun
St. Nicholas Church affairs are
administered by a ten (10) member Parish Council. Nine (9) Council
members are elected for 3-year terms and one member is appointed by
our Pastor for a one-year term. Three (3) members are elected
annually at the parish annual meeting in October. Members may serve
on the Parish Council for a maximum of two consecutive terms. The
Parish Council meets monthly on the second Thursday at 7:00 PM in the
church.
Officers of the Parish Council for 1997-98 are:
Michael Terek, Chairman
George Shawah Jr., Vice Chairman
John Wonneberger, Treasurer
Jim Jabbour, Secretary.
Also serving on the Parish Council for 1997-98 are John Andrews, Jack Bashar, Laila Bchara, Patti Boros, Evelyn Freije and George Uyar.
On Saturday evening, December 13, Father Matthew and Susan George hosted a dinner and reception for His Grace, Bishop ANTOUN and members of the Parish Council. Below are some photos from the event.
