Festival Cooking Schedule & Information from the 5/27/00 Bulletin

 

FESTIVAL COOKING SCHEDULE: The festival cooking schedule is printed below. Please sign the work schedule sheet during coffee hour today and/or contact Pam Bashar at (203) 929-4104. We need everyone’s help to make the festival successful.

Note: Don’t worry if you are unfamiliar with how to prepare some of the dishes. Our ladies are happy to teach newcomers to the cooking crew! Please join us if you can.

 

GRAPE LEAVES NEEDED FOR FESTIVAL: It’s that time of year again. Please start picking grape leaves as soon as they are ready and bring the blanched grape leaves to the church and leave in the upstairs refrigerator. We need 6,000 grape leaves --please help!!!

 

2000 BAZAAR COOKING SCHEDULE

Tuesday May 30 7:00 p.m. --- Cooking help is needed. Preparation for making spinach Pies.

Wednesday, May 31 9:30 AM -- Making spinach Pies. Men and women are invited to help with preparation.

Monday, June 5 7:00 PM - Help is need for preparation of Meat Pie Baking.

Tuesday, June 6 9:30 AM -- Making Meat Pies. Everyone is invited to help.

Monday, June 12, 7:00 PM -- Help is needed for preparation of Kibbee and Grape Leaves

Tuesday, June 13, 9:30 AM -- Making Kibbee for Bazaar. Everyone is welcome to help.

Thursday, June 15, 9:30 AM -- Roll Grape Leaves

Monday, June 19, 7:00 PM -- Bazaar Set up and Food Preparation. Everyone is needed.

Tuesday, June 20, 7:00 PM -- Bazaar Set up and Food Preparation. Everyone is needed.

Wednesday, June 21, 7:00 PM -- Bazaar Set up and Food Preparation. Everyone is needed.
