MODEL 913 INSERTION/SUBMERSION/FLOW THRU

The Model 913 pH sensor is designed to meet application requirements for insertion, flow thru
and submersion installations. The Model 913 features a Kynar~ outer body with 1" MNPT
threads at each end, a solid Teflon2 inner body, and a replaceable combination pH electrode in
an inert polymer body.

The compact design of the Model 913 permits efficient and uncomplicated installation in
process lines, tanks, vessels, sumps and open streams or ponds. Servicing the Model 913
requires only the removal of a retainings screw to obtain access to the combination pH

electrode. No time consuming, messy refilling of electrolyte is required; the disposable
electrode is simply replaced as a complete unit.

The polymer body combination pH electrode is a member of STI's family of state-of-the-art pH
sensors. The porous Teflon liquid junctions forms a 360ø collar around the pH glass electrode.
The reference portion of this combination electrode contains a high performance KCI/AgCI
electrolyte which is specially formulated to retain its viscosity at elevated temperatures. The
chemically inert polymer body is available either with or without a protective shroud around
the glass bulb, depending upon specific application requirements.

The combination electrode is supplied with an integral 10' or 3' cable with a BNC connector
and an automatic temperature compensator.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS: Wastewater Treatment ~ Acid/Caustic Neutralization ~Wet
Scrubbing Systems ~ Effluent Monitoring ~ Cooling Tower pH control ~ Pulp and Paper Mfg.
