2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup minced onion
salt and pepper to taste
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 lb shrimp
Splash of brandy ( i leave this out
1/2 lb..mushrooms
1/4 cup heavy cream
4 inch pastry shells...baked
garnish ..chopped parsley
In a large sautee pan, medium heat, melt butter, add
onions. season with salt and pepper. Sautee about 1 minute. Add garlic, sautee
another minute, Add shrimp and continue to sautee for 2 minutes. Remove
from heat add brandy now. Place pan back on the stove and flame the brandy by
shaking pan back and forth a couple times. Add mushrooms and cook for 2
minutes. Add the cream bring liquid to a boil Reduce simmer 1 minute or so.
Season to taste with salt and pepper. Spoon shrimp mixture into pastry shells.
Garnish and serve.
