Dee's Potato Soup Submitted by MzDeeMeanor
4 large
potatoes, peeled and cubed
3/4 cup finely
chopped onion
1 rib of
celery, chopped or sliced
1 carrot,
chopped or shredded
Boil in about
4 quarts of water till tender ( do NOT drain any of the liquid & do NOT smoosh
any of the potatoes that are still in lump form) Add 4 Tablespoons of
butter, 1 can evaporated milk, same can equivalent of half & half ( or 1% if
your a stickler for calories ) Season with salt & pepper and serve with
shredded cheddar cheese on top. Bon Appetit !
