One-Pot Pork Steak Dinner

This has no measurements, you make it according to the number of people you are feeding and the size of appetites..
Since pork steaks are large I usually cook one steak for two people, and one or two potatoes per person depending on size of potatoes.  Usually a half head of medium size cabbage works well with one or two pork steaks.

Salt and pepper pork steak then brown it in a large heavy duty fry pan or dutch oven.  Wash and peel potatoes (or leave on skins if desired), then quarter the potatoes over the meat. Top with chopped cabbage, add a little water, add some more salt and pepper if desired.  Turn down heat to medium low and cover, cook for 30 to 45 minutes until meat is tender and veggies are done to taste. Check the water occasionally as not to burn the meal.  You can cook the meat for a short time before adding the veggies so as not to overcook the potatoes and cabbage.
