Party Meatballs

1 can (10-1/2 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 c. seasoned dry bread crumbs
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 tea. garlic powder
1/4 tea. onion salt
1 jar (12 oz.) apricot preserves
2 Tbl. chopped jalapeno peppers

Measure 1/4 cup soup; reserve remainder.  Combine the 1/4 cup soup with beef, bread crumbs, cheese, egg, garlic power and onion salt.  Form into 1 inch meatballs using about 1 tablespoon meat mixture for each.  Arrange in shallow baking pan.  Bake in  400 degree oven, 12 minutes or until cooked through.  Meanwhile, in small saucepan, combine remaining soup with preserves and jalapenos; heat until blended.  Add meatballs and stir to coat.  Serve meatballs warm.  Makes about 36.
