Waldorf Grape Salad

4 Tart red apples, cored and diced
1 c. celery, sliced
1 c. seedless grapes, halved
1 c. miniature marshmallows
1/4 c. mayonnaise
1/4 c. whipped cream
1/2 c. walnuts, broken

Combine apples, celery, grapes, marshmallows and mayonnaise.  Fold in whipped cream. Chill.  Add walnuts just before serving.  Can garnish with apple wedges (sprinkled with lemon juice) and walnut halves forming apple poinsettia for a holiday dish.  Yield 6 servings.

*I sometimes add more whipped cream and also use Granny Smith apples with red seedless grapes for holiday theme.  Or use Granny Smith apples with green seedless grapes for St Patty's Day theme.
