whole small chicken , cleaned and
rinsed (bout 4 lbs) In
an 8 quart stock pot place the chicken and fill the pot with water until 4
inches from the top . Bring to a boil and simmer until chicken falls apart when
removed from the pot. Place
the chicken on a platter to cool. Skim the excess from the sides of the pot. Add
all the other ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer. Ok
now go watch “Who wants to be a Millionaire” or something. When
the Chicken has cooled remove all the meat and place in the pot and stir in . SOUPS
DONE !!!! Extras:
Sometimes
I like to add a large can of chicken broth to the water. And remember, to cook
till the celery is soft…..Serve with a nice crusty bread and a cold beer. |
