Three Cheese Sausage and Potato Casserole

                                                             Ingredients

 

1 ¾ cups of water
2/3 cup of milk
¼   cup of butter or margarine
1 tspn salt
2 2/3 Cups of Betty Crocker Potato Buds (Mashed Potatoes) Dry.
1 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 ounces)
1 lb fully cooked Polska-Kielbasas or other smoked sausage
1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese (4 ounces)
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablspns dry bread crumbs
2 tablspns butter or margarine, melted

 

                                   Cooking Instructions 

1. Heat water, milk, ¼ cup butter and salt to boiling in a 2 quart saucepan.  Remove from heat. Stir in potatoes just until moistened. Let stand about 30 seconds or until the liquid is absorbed. Whip With a fork until as fluffy as you’d like. Stir in sour cream and Cheddar cheese.

 2. Heat oven to 350 Deg. Grease square pan 8x8x2 inches. Spread half the potato mixture in pan.  Cut sausage in ¼ inch rounds, Arrange sausage on top. Spread with remaining potato mixture. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Mix remaining ingredients and sprinkle over the top.

 3. Bake uncovered 25 to 30 mins. Or until light brown.
