A Short Biography.
I have been married to Neil for nearly 17 years and have 3 children. I live approximately 10 miles from Cardiff, South Wales, close to the M4 Motorway. I started my working life as a Legal Secretary and became a sole trader in 1992 following the birth of my children. In November 1999 I trained as a Speedtext Operator / Electronic Note-taker mainly working with Deaf and Hard of hearing people. A large part of that work is based in and around University settings, conferences and meetings. In March 2001 I started the course on Stenography. I learnt this at home through distance learning.
