Surrey Beekeepers Association - Guildford Division
Guildford Division
Apiary
Meetings
The Division has an active and varied
educational and social programme that runs throughout the year.
Summer meetings start around May when monthly visits to fellow
beekeepers gardens are the main social event. Each of these visits
will usually focus on some aspect of topical interest and at least
one session will be of particular interest for new beekeepers.
Winter activities are usually centred on a programme of talks,
demonstrations, and video showing at monthly intervals. Such events
in the past have been on topics such as mead making, candle making
and other wax products, DIY equipment making and disease control.
Guest speakers are invited and the knowledge within the division
is shared at Workshop sessions.
