Epsom Chairmans report for the Nov 2006 SBKA AGM

Epsom has been quite active again this year we have improved the Apairy by
grassing the area between the sheds and the hut and also putting in a patio
area where Alan's bench and table is being put on Dec. 3rd.

Our beginners course was very successful and we have gained members through
the course, we are again running a course at the Apiary this year it is
being run by one of our members Mr. Secker along with one of the Bee
Inspectors Alan Byham.

Our own honey show went very well with a lot of the public coming to see the
honey and all the gift classes being auctioned at the end of the afternoon.

Epsom members also entered the Surrey County Show,West Wickham and
Bromley, South of England Show, and The National Honey Show.

As usual we have done a lot of fundraising and different members have given
lots of talks to groups, beavers, cubs, scouts, rainbows, brownies and
guides.

I would like to thank members of Epsom for all their help and understanding
through this very difficult time.

Mollie
