The Explorers Club®, Inc.
| The Explorers Club® is "dedicated to the advancement of field research,
scientific exploration, and the ideal that it is vital to preserve the instinct
to explore. The Club provides expedition planning assistance, research grants,
educational lectures and publications, and exciting adventure travel programs."
Many of the world's greatest explorers have been members of The Explorers
Club®. Sir Edmund Hillary, KG, ONZ, KBE, is Honorary Director
and Jim Fowler, MED '66 is Honorary President. The Explorers
Club® is a not-for-profit organization as defined under Sections 170
(b) (I) (A) (vi) and 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue code.
The Jupiter Florida Chapter of The Explorers Club®, Inc. is incorporated in the State of Florida as a nonprofit organization. The Chapter is headquartered in Jupiter, Florida. It includes, but is not limited to, the area from Vero Beach to Boca Raton on Florida's east coast, westward to Fisheating Creek. |

MEMBERS' EXPLORATIONS |
Chapter members frequently lead or join expeditions. Some members carry The Explorers Club Flag® on scientific expeditions to further the world's knowledge and to participate in exploration. | Access The Explorers Club® Calendar, with meetings and activities
for New York and many of the chapters, including The Jupiter Florida Chapter,
Inc.
Chapter Educational Seminars, with speakers from all disciplines of exploration, are held periodically from October through May. These seminars are usually held in Jupiter, Fort Pierce or Vero Beach, Florida. They are open to the public. In some cases, Advance reservations are required. Please contact Rosemarie Twinam, Chapter Chair, for further information, or to have your name added to our Courtesy List. We do not share our lists with any other organizations or groups. We may occasionally send information we think may be of interest, but we generate the labels and mail the envelopes, or send email notices. |
