Jesus Sighed

Red Bead Line

I am standing watching Jesus. He comes upon a man who cannot hear nor speak. Jesus walks over to the man and looks into his eyes. The Lords eyes are filled with love, with such compassionate love. He then puts His fingers into the mans ears, then spits and touches the mans tongue, looks to heaven and lets out a deep sigh. This is not a sigh of being tired, or relief but it is something so precious, so special for us to know. This was a sigh of anguish, of pain for when he looked upon this man he saw what God never intended to be. The suffering of pain, hopelessness, anguish, separation from Him. God sighed not just for this man, but for all of us. You see God never wanted us separated from Him. He never wanted us to suffer pain. He never wanted us to suffer hopelessness, despair, and anxiety. He created us so he could walk with us, hold us close, and most of all to unconditionally love us forever and ever, and for us to be one with Him.

Hear it again God sighed!!! A sigh of deep anguish. A deep sigh of looking at all His children suffering things never intended. His heart was weeping and still is weeping for us, for you! He still sighs today as he looks down upon His creation and sees all our pain, our hopes dashed, things never intended to be endured. So please never feel you are alone when you are suffering, never feel hopeless, for Jesus is looking down at you right now, feeling your pain, your loss, your despair. All you need do is get down, look up and reach out with your heart, for HE IS THERE always ready, always loving, always ready to come running. Lift up your burden now, no matter how big and hopeless you may feel, just lift it up and believe in our Lord. The One that not only sighed in anguish at your pain, but who also feels your pain. According to His will, He will not just come, but He will come running to your side and give you what you need. Please do it right now! Feel His peace, His love His healing, and then let it go. He IS waiting. He wants to turn your sigh of anguish into a sigh of release. He not only died for you and rose again to give you eternal life, but He lives, to come running to you when you cry out.

If He had not sighed perhaps we should feel hopelessness, despair, and feel unable to go on. But No!!! He did sigh, His painful heartfelt groan is our sign that we can hope, we can climb out of the pit of despair, no matter how deep or painful. For His hand is reaching down to you right now, look up, feel it, and let Him pull you up and out. Believe it! Count on it! We can now sigh in relief knowing we ARE assured that He is sighing for us still, and most of all awaiting the day when all sighs will cease; we will again be home with Him as it was always intended to be. That is guaranteed. The Cross, His death and the resurrection, assures us of that. There is no greater gift or greater truth than Jesus Christ and Calvary's Cross.
