The British Slot Car Racing Association – BSCRA
BSCRA used to be called ECRA. Their site includes a track directory and dates of major slot racing events, as well as loads of slot links
Chris Frost maintains BSCRA’s rules pages and is the secretary of the association. There’s loads of stuff on his site of interest including race reports and how to design, build and wire a track. Follow Chris’s advice and you too can build a flat, smooth wooden track with loads of power!
Slot Car Distributors is the mainstay of British slot racing. It’s run by Chas Keeling who can always be relied upon for good advice and great mail order service. Most of the stuff in the FLBT club shop is supplied by SCD.
Spot-On Models in Swindon are kind enough to display a FLBT flyer directing new members towards us – thanks! They have a great selection of slot cars by Fly, Ninco and GB track et al, and are even putting a Scalex track in their back room, and railways and die-casts.
Charlie Spot-On’s
brother in law Bob runs Froude & Hext 83 Victoria Street Swindon 01793-522098 –
also good for railways and slots, also displays a flyer. Mention here too for Swindon
Model Centre 2 Theatre Square Swindon 01793-526878 more into
plastic kits and radio control, and none the worse for that.
Derek Cooper (Dee's Historics)
Derek has extensive listings of retro slotcars for sale – not just Scalex and Fly, but also Minic, VIP, Cox, Monogram . . . .

I was looking for Dave Cheeseman’s excellent slot links page, but he seems to have stopped it. Let me know if you know what happened to it. In the meantime here is a good selection courtesy of the Oxford Scalex Club, now up and running in new premises.
Google returns FLBT’s site if you key in four lane blacktop. Cool – how does it do that? Thanks to them anyway – if you need it, Google it.
