Richpips Tracklogs Downloads.

Firstly all the downloads are in .trl format. In order to utilise them you will need a licenced copy of tracklogs.  These routes were compiled with version 2 software.

This page has 7 downloads for a proposed Welsh End to End. The route is designed to take in some of the Welsh Mountain Biking Centres, hence it's winding route. The Start is in Conwy and finishes in Cardiff. Total Distance 517 Km including MTB centre riding. Please  note as yet there are no tracklogs for the centre stuff, only how to get there. There are the minimum of waypoints and no description as yet.

I have tried to follow off-road routes wherever possible, though some compromises inevitable have been made. I have tried to follow legal rights of way, though there are possibly a couple of short cheeky sections, but of course plenty of singletrack.

Day 1 Conwy to Trawsfynydd via Gwydr Forest route.  57K + 25K.

Day 2 Trawsfynydd to Machynlleth via Coed y Brenin (Karrimor Trail) 51K + 38K.

Day 3 Machynlleth to Llandrindod Wells 74K.

Day 4 Llandrindod Wells to Brecon 45 K.

Day 5 Brecon to Afan Argoed  60K + 42K.

Day 6 Afan to Cwmcarn 70K.

Day 7 CwmCarn to Cardiff. 38K + 17K.

I have other routes that I am willing to share. Some are mine, and others have been downloaded from elsewhere on the internet.

http://www.mtb-wales.com/ has some good routes which are free to download once you register.

http://www.singletrackworld.com/ has a good forum with several tracklogs users who are interested in pooling their collection of routes, though it hasn't happened yet.
