Welcome to

THE QUILLING GUILD

Quilling, also known as paper filigree, is the art of rolling narrow strips of paper and then shaping them to make the most exquisite designs. Projects can range from simple gift tags and cards to elaborate pictures, 3-D models or the decoration of boxes. Sue's car

The Guild, formed in 1983, aims to promote the art of quilling and the knowledge of quill work. You don't have to be an expert to join the Quilling Guild - most of our members are simply people who are enthusiastic about quilling. They come from all walks of life and ages range from 7 to 80 plus. The Guild holds an annual display of work in the UK and organises an International Festival of Quilling every 5 years. Representatives also arrange meetings and workshops throughout the year.

You can now read all about the committee and, for those of you who are not able to get to our meetings, see what some of them look like! Do have a look at the information about Accreditation as information for 2004 is now available.

NEW ISSUES TO SEE NOW!! You can now look back at previous issues of Quillers Today. The issues available are changed regularly so there should always be something to interest you.

We now have the the first page of the Gallery available, so there are some good close-ups of quilled pieces for you to look at.
