Rink 2 - 32 pts  to  9 pts    Rink 3 - 23 pts  to  17 pts    



Rink 2 played a blinding game, keeping the pressure on our opponents from the first end. Consistant
scoring gave this rink a resounding win, well played lads !!



Rink 3 was my rink. We started well, building up a 15 to 1 lead. By tea we had dropped another 4.
After tea the team from Wessex began to show us how to play. They picked up shots, putting pressure
on all of us. We kept our nerve and managed the win.

Rink 7 was a tough grind for our team against a rink in good form. We struggled for most
of the match, but a flurry at the end helped to get us into double figures. Better luck
next week ! 



Rink 8 was my match. We were down 6 shots in two ends. Then we pulled back 5 shots. The
game continued to be high scoring, we kept our opponents to scoring one's and two's while
we picked better scores. A good win for us.



Rink 9 produced a tight game to start with. Then we began to stretch our lead, but Poole Park
began to come back at us. Our steely nerve kept us on top, and a victory which sealed an 
overall win for the first game of the season.
