We have been taking photos of birds since  November 2003. That's when we bought a Canon EOS 10D. Initially, we used a Canon 75-300mm lens, then we upgraded to a Canon 100-400mm lens with an Image Stabiliser.

Most of the photos on this site are taken in  England,  Germany and Turkey.

We always take the photos in their natural  environment, not in zoos or bird santuaries.

As Oya's mother tongue is Turkish, on each  bird page, you will find the birds names in her native language.

We are getting better at taking photos so  over time we  will replace the poorer photos.
