[Last Will and Testament of Frelove Ludlam. 1846.]In the name of God, Amen. I, Frelove Ludlam of the Town of Oyster Bay County of
Queens State of New York. being in good bodily health and of sound and disposing mind and memory, calling to my mind the traits and uncertainty of human life and being desirons of settling my worldly affairs and directing how the estates with which it has pleased God to bless me shall be disposed of after my decease, while I have strength and capacity so to do, make and publish this my last will and Testament - And first I commend my immortal being to him who gave it, and my body to the Earth to be decently buried with little expense - Impremis - my will is that all my first debts and funeral expenses be paid from my property - and what is left after so doing - I give and bequeath to my friends Jemima Baker of the same town and county aforesaid
