[Quit Claim between Walter Franklin and Townsend U. Franklin. 1855.]

This Indenture Mode the{?} day of February in the Year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred + fifty five Between Walter Franklin of the Town of Oyster Bay - County of Queens and State of New York of the first part and Townsend U Franklin of the same town County and State aforesaid of the second part {?} that the said party of the second part for and in consideration of the sum of One Dollar. lawful mony of the United States of America, to him in hand paid by the Said party of the second part at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents. the receipt where of in hereby acknowledged hath revised released and quit claim , unto the Said party of the second part, and to his heirs. and assigns for ever- All that certain piece or parcel of ?ood land situate. lying and being in the Town of OysterBay aforesaid and between Norwich and the Village of Oyster Bay:Bounded as follows;Beginning Twenty eight rods. South from the corner of Storrs land, adjoining the Highway-leading from Norwich to Said Village of OysterBay . being bound on the Easterly side by the said Highway. on the North h Elbert Van Nostrands Land. On the Westerly Side by a road of Said Elbert Van Nostrands and South and Southwesterly by the great Hill or Highway leading from Norwich to the Village of OysterBay and land of Townsend U/Franklin Containing about Four acres of land he the same more or less Together with all and Singular the tenement {?} and {?} there unto belonging. or in any {?} appertaining and therevision and reveisons. remainder and remainders. rents. issues. and profits thereof - And also. all the estate. right, title. interest property. {?} claim and demand whatsoever. as well in law as in equity of the Said party. of the first part, of, in or to the above described premises, and every part and parcel thereof. with the appurtenances. To have and to hold, all and Singular the above mentioned and described premises together with the appurtenances. Unto the Said party of the Second part, his heirs and Assigns. forever. {?} In {?} whereof. the Said party, of the first part hath hereunto Set his hand and seal the day and year first above
