Islip						April 1796
Worshipful Brother,

It is with grief we announce to you the death of our Worthy Brother William Nicole in his life time his request was to be interred in the Masonic Stile We Wish therefore that you would git a Dispensation for the purpose and likewise the manner of procession on such melancholy occasions.

Our lodge is likewise destitute of sashes which are necessary to be worn at the time You will please to forward them sufficient for 20 at least & what other things you suppose necessary & a remittance shall be attended to as soon possible to you for them.

N.B.  Our warrant extends only to Huntington &
      the Interment of our Brother will be in Islip
