[Deed of land between Thomas Cheshire and Eljah Wright. 1752.]Know all men by These presents that I Thomas Cheshire of oyster bay In Queens County WithIn ye Province of New York on ye Island of Nassau Weaver for and In Consideration of ye sum of fivre pounds Thirteen Shillings Current Lawful Money of New York to Me In hand paid Before ye Insealing & Delivery hereof by Eljah Wright YeoMan of ye Same Town & County as abovesaid ye Receipt Whereof I ye Said Thomas Cheshire Do hereby acknowledge & MySelf There With fully Satisfied Contented & paid and therefore of every part & parcel Thereof Do Exonerate requit and fully Discharge ye said Elijah Wright his heirs Executors forever & by these presents ye Said Thomas Cheshire Do freely fully Clearly and absolutely give grant Bargain Sell [ ] Convey & Confirm Unto ye Said Elijah Wright his heirs and assigns forever all that of a certain peace of land Sitteaute Lying and Being on ye Easte Side of ye highWay that leads from oyster bay ye Norredge adioyning to ye abovesaid Elijah Wright ['s?]Wheat on ye North part of My own Land The first Bounder Is ye White oke Tree or Stump by ye Hath Side ye North West Bounder Thene Eastwardly about Thirty Eight Rods and Better to a Walnut Sappelin Thene Westerly twenty Three or foure Rods to a White oake Tree by ye highWay Then by ye Said highWay to ye first Bound Containing With In ye Said Bound one acor and Three Quarters More or Less as Not Being Presisely Measured Bounded on ye North by ye Said Elijah Wrights Land & on ye South by My own Land and on ye West by ye highWay With all ye Timber Trees grass or Else What of Rite as Lying and Standing or groing Same that can be Deemd or Esteemd a part or Member thereof to have & to hold all & Singular ye Said granted Land & premeses With ye appurtenances preveledges and Comodities to ye Same belonging or In any Wise appertaining to him ye Said Elijah Wright his heirs assigns forever
