Annual Exhibition

Member of NWMRCA and NAME Affiliated to LRS, MRC (London) Ltd., BTG and FLAG 

Club Nights for 'HO', 'OO' and 'N' Sections Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 7 till 9.30pm. 
For the Model Engineering Section Friday evenings, 7 till 9.00pm and in the Public Park 1.30 till 5pm (weather permitting, April till end October). 
These meetings may be cancelled, mainly due to attending outside functions. 

Current exhibition layouts include:- 
'OO' Section:- Boldon Junction - Modern Image 
'HO' Section:- Oberfriedhof - Swiss 

Other layouts in progress: 

The Model Engineering run an elevated 5/31/2inch gauge oval track of some 890 feet. Also included is a Furness Railway Signal Box which provides brews and water. This is situated in Barrow's Public Park, not far from the Leisure Centre, which provides toilet facilities. 
The Friday evenings provide for maintaining member and the club locos - A Simplex (Club), a 2-6-2 tank loco (D. N. Wright) and a 0-6-0 battery loco (R. Reeves). 
 

The club has a library of books and past publications, and produces a bi-monthly newsletter TURNTABLE. Our Annual Exhibition is on the Easter Friday, Saturday & Sunday in Forum28 (Barrow's Civic Centre). 
Visitors are welcomed, as are visiting locos (with suitable certification). 
The aims of the club are common as with most other model railway clubs.
