We've all heard the myth before: A lot of successful people have struggled
for years in poverty before "making it." And yet, the advice that is offered
to one who is attempting to bring his ideas to fruition -- (the Broke &
Brilliant) -- usually amounts to, "Just keep at it...you'll make it big someday."
In other words, if you're broke, you're on your own -- until now, that is.
There is no shame in being broke. There is certainly no shame in being brilliant.
And, while the words "broke" and "brilliant" may at first appear to be
mutually-exclusive, it is an apt description for millions of college students,
musicians, artists, writers, those in the first years of building a career
or a business, and virtually anyone in the last few days before payday.
The Broke & Brilliant Web Site is dedicated to helping the world's
Broke & Brilliant survive the "lean times." Someday the world will recognize
our genius. Until then, we must continue to struggle on and share our Broke
& Brilliant survival skills.
So go ahead... Quit your jobs... Enjoy life... Follow my lead... Dare to
