The earth is filled with violence.
There’s wars on every hand.
They say peace, peace and safety,
But the agreements never stand.
Nations are so fearful
Of the sea and roaring tides,
Not knowing what has hit them
With earthquakes and landslides.
Cars they jostle one another,
Look like torches as they go,
Moving swiftly in the streets,
Speedily traveling to and fro.
Men in gratification are living,
Their treasure is stored up
As they suppress their giving
And play and eat and sup.
They love themselves and money,
But do not love the Lord
Disobedience to parents
No love for what is good.
The Jews who wandered
Throughout the world;
But now the Star of David
Above their heads again unfurled.
God’s people have returned
To their homeland once again
As Jehovah shows his hand
Working in the world of men.
People desert the churches
As apostasy sets in.
The Word of God neglected.
The man of sin is seen.
Look up for in the clouds
Our Lord will soon appear
His promises are sure
The rapture is so near.
