As
usual, all you need for this tutorial, is PSP and some
patience!
1.
Open a blank image of 250 by 200 pixels, flood fill with
a light gray so that we can see what we are doing! Then
create a second layer, this is the one we will be
drawing on so make sure it is the active layer!!
2.
OK, using your paint brush tool set to size one draw the
outline.
These are the colors that we will be using for the
outline:
Body =
#B9F1F0
Mane and tail = #39E1DF
Horn, hooves and facial features = #1CC4C2
As you
can see, I have done the colors in the pictures
different, this is so that you can see them better!

3.
With the magic wand, select each area and fill with
these colors:
Body
and legs = #F6FEFE
Main and tail = #DIF9F8
Horn and hooves = #1CC4C2*
* (yes, the same as the outline!!)
NOW
FOR THE SHADING!
4.
Select the body.
Selections
> Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout.
Using
these settings:
Vertical
= -2
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 60
Blur = 9
Shade = #5EE7E5
Deselect.
6.
Select the far legs (holding down the shift key!!)
Selections
> Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout.
Using
these settings:
Vertical
= 3
Horizontal = -1
Opacity = 60
Blur = 9
Shade = #1CC4C2
Deselect.
7.
Select the tail and mane (holding down the sift key!)
Selections
> Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout.
Using
these settings:
Vertical
= -3
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 75
Blur = 8
Shade = #1CC4C2
apply
cutout again with these settings:
Vertical
= 1
Horizontal = 2
Opacity = 60
Blur = 5
Shade = #39E1DF
Deselect.
8.
Zoom into the horn and using colors
#B9F1F0
(darker blue)
#F6FEFE (lighter blue)
Draw
the spiral pattern like this:

9.
With the magic wand, select all four hooves (holding
down the shift key!). Create a new raster layer
and then with color #F6FEFE draw in like this:

Apply a
gaussian blur of 0.5.
Deselect.
10.
Remember to hide or delete the background layer before
merging the layers!
And then save as a PSP image!!
That's
it!! Your done!!
