I got
the idea for this bear from one my daughter was given as
a baby!
OK, as
usual, all you need for this tutorial is PSP and
patience!!
1.
Open a transparent canvas of 120 by 140. If you
wish you can flood fill with white and then create a
second raster layer so that you can see things a bit
better!
2.
If you have made a second layer, make sure you are on
this layer for drawing!!.... With your paintbrush set at
size one and color #694C31 draw the outline like this:

With your magic wand, select and fill each section with
color #926C4E and the muzzle area with color #D5C9B1.
You
should have something like this:

NOW
FOR THE SHADING.
4.
With the magic wand, select the head.
Selections
> Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cut Out.
With
these settings:
Vertical
= 3
Horizontal = -1
Opacity = 75
Blur = 12
Shade = #4F331F
5.
With the magic wand, select the left ear (Your left).
Selections
> Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cut Out.
With
these settings:
Vertical
= -1
Horizontal = -1
Opacity = 75
Blur = 7
Shade = #4F331F

With the magic wand, select the right ear.
Selections
> Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cut Out.
With
these settings:
Vertical
= -1
Horizontal = 2
Opacity = 75
Blur = 7
Shade = #4F331F
7.
With the magic wand, select the body.
Selections
> Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cut Out.
With
these settings:
Vertical
= -2
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 75
Blur = 9
Shade = #4F331F

With the magic wand, select the left foot.
Selections
> Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cut Out.
With
these settings:
Vertical
= -2
Horizontal = -1
Opacity = 75
Blur = 10
Shade = #4F331F
9.
With the magic wand, select the right foot.
Selections
> Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cut Out.
With
these settings:
Vertical
= -2
Horizontal = 1
Opacity = 75
Blur = 10
Shade = #4F331F
10.
With the magic wand, select the left arm.
Selections
> Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cut Out.
With
these settings:
Vertical
= -3
Horizontal = -1
Opacity = 75
Blur = 7
Shade = #4F331F
11.
With the magic wand, select the right arm.
Selections
> Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cut Out.
With
these settings:
Vertical
= -3
Horizontal = 1
Opacity = 75
Blur = 7
Shade = #4F331F
12.
With the magic wand, select the muzzle.
Selections
> Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cut Out.
With
these settings:
Vertical
=-1
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 100
Blur = 7
Shade = #694C31
13.
Add a new raster layer and with your paint brush and
color #694C31 draw the nose like this:
(I took this screen shot before I did the shading on the
muzzle area)

14.
With your magic wand, select inside the nose and fill
with color #926C4E. Keep selected,
Selections
> Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cut Out.
With
these settings:
Vertical
= -1
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 100
Blur = 4
Shade = #4F331F
15.
Using your paint brush at size one and color #442C1A
draw the eyes:

16.
Hide the background layer if you made one (click on the
glasses) and then merge visible.
Save as
a psp image.
OK,
that's it... You're done!
If you
wish, you can add some 'fluff' or leave as is!
I used
the outline color #694C31, to show you how it looks.
But it is up to you how you prefer it!!
