Pixel Sundae

1. Open a transparent canvas of
150 x 200 pixels. Flood fill this layer with white
and then make a second raster layer. This is the
layer we will be drawing on so make sure it is the
active layer by clicking on it.
2. Pick the paintbrush tool set
at size one and draw the outline by following the
pictures.
These are the colors I used:
Glass: #ACD1F0
Strawberry: #ED9FCB
Vanilla: #F8F1B8
Chocolate: #F4AF64
Wafer: #F4Af64
3. Pick your flood fill tool
(the bucket) and making sure that the 'sample merged'
box is checked, fill in your sundae.
These are the colors I used:
Glass (all): #E0EFFA
Strawberry: #F7C8E2
Vanilla: #F8F4D1
Chocolate : #CB906F
Wafer: #FC389A
NOW FOR THE SHADING
4. With your magic wand, select
the left glass indent
Selections > Float > Effects
> 3D Effects > Cutout
with these settings:
Vertical = 1
Horizontal = 1
Opacity = 70
Blur = 4
Shade = #5999CB
Keep selected and apply a second
cutout:
Vertical = 0
Horizontal = -1
Opacity = 70
Blur = 6
Shade = #FFFFFF
Deselect.
Apply the same cutout to each of the
glass indents one at a time.
5. With your magic wand, select
the glass stem.
Selections > Float > Effects
> 3D Effects > Cutout
with these settings:
Vertical = 1
Horizontal = -1
Opacity = 70
Blur = 6
Shade = #5999CB
6. With your magic wand, select
the strawberry ice-cream.
Selections > Float > Effects
> 3D Effects > Cutout
with these settings:
Vertical = -4
Horizontal = -2
Opacity = 95
Blur = 14
Shade = #EDGFCB
Deselect. Apply the
same cutout to each ice cream in turn but using #F1E89F
for the vanilla shade and #A5562B for the chocolate
shade.
7. With your magic wand, select
the wafer.
Selections > Float > Effects
> 3D Effects > Cutout
with these settings:
Vertical = 0
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 80
Blur = 11
Shade = #EAA254
Deselect. Hide or
delete the first layer (the one we filled in with white)
and save as a .psp file for future use. That's
it! Your done! I hope you enjoyed
