Pixel Seal by MOE

1.  Open a transparent canvas of 70 x 100 pixels.  Fill with white and create a second raster layer.  This is the layer that we will be drawing on so make sure it is the active layer by clicking on it.

2.  Pick your paintbrush tool, set at size one and draw the outline by following the picture.  These are the colors that I used but feel free to choose your own:
Ball: #FF873F    Seal: #606060    Stand: #78ABDA    Eye: #000000

3.  Pick your flood fill tool and making sure that the 'sample merged' box is checked and full in your outline.  These are the colors that I used but feel free to choose your own.
Ball: #FFC37B
Seal: #D0D0D0
Stand: #B4E7FF

NOW FOR THE SHADING

4.  Pick your magic wand and select the ball.

Selections > Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout
with these settings:

Vertical = -2
Horizontal = 2
Opacity = 100
Blur = 7
Shade: #FF873F

Deselect.

5.  Pick your magic wand and select the seal.

Selections > Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout
with these settings:

Vertical = 0
Horizontal = 1
Opacity = 80
Blur = 10
Shade = #404040

Deselect.

4.  Pick your magic wand and select the stand.

Selections > Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout
with these settings:

Vertical = 0
Horizontal = 6
Opacity = 75
Blur = 10
Shade = #78ABDA

Keep selected and apply a second cutout:

Vertical = 0
Horizontal = -3
Opacity = 70
Blur = 10
Shade = #78ABDA

Deselect.

5.  Decorate the stand.


6.  Save as a .psp file for future use.
