Polar Bear By MOE

I have not made a
printer friendly version as this is only a short
tutorial.
1. Open a transparent
canvas of 100 x 100 pixel. Flood with
white. Create a second raster layer, this is the layer
that we will be drawing on so make sure it is
the active layer by clicking on it.
2. Pick your paintbrush
set at size one, draw the outline by following
the picture.
I used #CFD2C4.

3. Pick your flood fill tool, (the bucket)
and making sure that the 'sample merged' box is
checked, fill in your bear outline. I used
#F7FAEC NOW FOR THE
SHADING
4. Pick you magic wand and select
the main body area.
Selections > Float >
Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout
with these settings:
Vertical = -1
Horizontal = -1
Opacity = 90
Blur = 6
Shade = #DFD2C4
Deselect 5. Pick you
magic wand and select both of the far legs.
(hold down the shift key to select more than one
area at a time)
Selections > Float >
Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout
with these settings:
Vertical = 1
Horizontal = 1
Opacity = 95
Blur = 6
Shade = #DFD2C4
Deselect 6. Back to your
paintbrush tool, still at size one and draw in
some features.
I used #898C7E

7. Hide or delete the bottom layer (the
one we filled in with white) and save as a .psp
file for future use. That's it,
you're done! I hope you enjoyed this
tutorial and found it easy to follow. If
you have any questions or problems feel free to email
me.
THANK YOU.
