1. Open a transparent canvas of
100 x 150 pixels. Flood fill this layer with white
and then create a second raster layer. Make sure
this is the active layer by clicking on it.
2. Pick your paintbrush, set at
size one and draw the outline by following the next two
pictures.
These are the colors that I chose but
feel free to choose your own.
Skin: #BD825E
Hair: #E49A5D
Dress: #07359D
Rose green: #00A200
Rose red: #941C1C
*I have used green on the hair so you can see where it
changes from hair to skin color you use #E49A5D (or your
own coice)*

I have not put numbers in this one just squares.

3. Pick your flood fill tool
(the bucket) and making sure that the 'sample merged'
box is checked, fill in your lady and rose.
These are the colors that I chose:
Skin: #ECC0AA
Hair: #EBCB9C
Dress: #618DE7
Rose red: #CA1010
NOW FOR THE SHADING.
4. With your magic wand, select
the face.
Selections Float > Effects > 3D
Effects > Cut out
Using these settings:
Vertical = 2
Horizontal = -1
Opacity = 55
Blur = 5
Shade = #E49A5D
Deselect.
5. With your magic wand, select
the chest.
Selections Float > Effects > 3D
Effects > Cut out
Using these settings:
Vertical = -2
Horizontal = -1
Opacity = 65
Blur = 4
Shade = #E49A5D
Keep selected and apply this second
cutout:
Vertical = 1
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 44
Blur = 4
Shade = #E49A5D
Deselect.
6. With your magic wand, select
the far arm..
Selections Float > Effects > 3D
Effects > Cut out
Using these settings:
Vertical = 2
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 75
Blur = 6
Shade = #E49A5D
Deselect.
7. With your magic wand, select
all of the dress (hold down the sift key to select more
than one area at a time).
Selections Float > Effects > 3D
Effects > Cut out
Using these settings:
Vertical = 3
Horizontal = -1
Opacity = 80
Blur = 12
Shade = #07359D
Deselect.
8. With your magic wand, select
the hair.
Selections Float > Effects > 3D
Effects > Cut out
Using these settings:
Vertical = 2
Horizontal = -3
Opacity = 50
Blur = 5
Shade = #E49A5D
Keep selected and apply a second
cutout:
Vertical = -2
Horizontal = 3
Opacity = 60
Blur = 5
Shade = #E49A5D
Deselect.
9. Now draw in the features.
These are the colors that I chose:
Eyebrow/nose: #BD825E
Lips: #CA1010
Teeth/eye white: #F9F8E8
Eye brown: #924922
Eye blue: #10389C

If you want to add
some blush, create a new raster layer with your
paintbrush at size one and using color #E48888 draw in
some blush like this: 
Add
a gaussian blur of 1. 11. Hide the
bottom layer and merge visible. Save
as a psp. file for future use. That's
it, you're done! I hope you enjoyed
