Pixel Ice-cream cone

Printer friendly version HERE
To make this ice-cream
cone, all you need is PSP.
1. Open a
transparent canvas of 50 X 75 pixels, this should give
you plenty of room to work with. Flood fill this
layer with white and then create a new raster
layer. This is the layer we will be drawing on so
make sure it is active by clicking on it.
2. Pick you
paintbrush tool set at size 1 and draw the outline.
These are the colors I chose but feel free to pick your
own.
cone: #D6AD7C
Ice-cream: #F0A8A0
Flake: #844B08

(This picture is if you don't want to
have the flake, there was no need to number this one)

3. Pick your
floodfill tool and make sure that the 'sample merged'
box is checked. Fill in your ice-cream.
These are the colors
that I chose:
Cone: #CC995C
Ice-cream: #F4C8C2
Flake: #B26E1E
This is what you should
have.

4. Pick your
magic wand and select the right section of the
ice-cream.
Selections > Float
> Effects > 3D Effects > Cut out
with these setting:
Vertical = 2
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 80
Blur = 2
Shade = #F0A8A0
Deselect.
Repeat step 4 for each
section of the ice-cream.
That's it.... You're
done!
