1.  Open a transparent  raster canvas of 150 x 150 pixels.  Flood fill with white and create a second raster layer, this is the layer that we will be drawing on so make sure it is the active layer by clicking on it.

2.. Pick your paintbrush set at size one and draw the outline by following the picture.
I used color #BB2103 but you can chose your own color.

3.  Pick your flood fill tool (the bucket) and making sure that the 'sample merged' box is checked, fill in your dragon.
These are the colors that I chose:

Body/wing/hand/foot #F47864
Belly/neck front #F1ACA3
Eyes #FFFFFF

NOW FOR THE SHADING

4.  Pick your selection tool (the magic wand) and select the main body area.

Selections > Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout

With these settings:

Vertical = -2
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 80
Blur = 7
Shade = #BB2103

Deselect

5.  Select the wing.

Selections > Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout

With these settings:

Vertical = 1
Horizontal = 1
Opacity = 70
Blur = 4
Shade = #BB2103

Apply a second cutout to the wing but change the VERTICAL to -1 (minus one)

Deselect

6.  Select the left hand (your left).

Selections > Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout

With these settings:

Vertical = -1
Horizontal = -1
Opacity = 80
Blur = 5
Shade = #BB2103

Deselect

7.  Select the top spines.

Selections > Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout

With these settings:

Vertical = 0
Horizontal = -2
Opacity = 80
Blur = 3
Shade = #BB2103

Deselect

8.  Select the bottom spines.

Selections > Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout

With these settings:

Vertical = 2
Horizontal = -1
Opacity = 80
Blur = 3
Shade = #BB2103

Deselect

9.  Select the Left foot (your left).

Selections > Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout

With these settings:

Vertical = -1
Horizontal = -2
Opacity = 80
Blur = 5
Shade = #BB2103

Deselect

10.  Select the belly area.

Selections > Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout

With these settings:

Vertical = 0
Horizontal = 3
Opacity = 80
Blur = 8
Shade = #FDEEEE

Deselect

11.  Select the front neck area.

Selections > Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout

With these settings:

Vertical = 0
Horizontal = 2
Opacity = 80
Blur = 4
Shade = #FDEEEE

Deselect

12.  Now back to your paintbrush at size one and color #000000 draw in some eyes:

Delete or hide the bottom layer and save as a .psp file for future use.
