Pixel Dinosaur

Printer friendly version HERE
To make this dinosaur all you need is PSP.
(I have named him Fred due to popular demand!!) 1.
Open a transparent canvas of 130 X 130, flood fill it
with white. Make a new raster layer, this is the
layer that we will be working on so make sure it is the
active layer by clicking on it. 2.
Pick you paintbrush set at size one and draw the
outline. These
are the colors I chose: Body:
#165223
eyes/nose/feet: #1E7833
eyes: #000000 (I
have colored the eyes/nose/feet in red so you can see
them easier)
 3.
Pick your floodfill tool (bucket) and make sure that the
'sample merged' box is checked. flood fill in
Fred's body and legs.
I used #99C3A2 for his body and legs and I used #FFFFFF for his eyes. 4.
With your magic wand select his body. Selections
> Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout
With these settings:
Vertical = -1
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 80
Blur = 5
Shade = #1E7833 Deselect. 5.
With your magic wand select both back legs
(hold down shift key to select more than one area at a
time) Selections
> Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout
With these settings:
Vertical = 3
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 88
Blur = 5
Shade = #1E7833 Deselect. Save
your dinosaur as a psp. image for future use. That's
it, Fred is finished!!
