1.  Open a transparent canvas of 150 x 150 pixels.  Flood fill with white and create a second raster layer, this is the layer that we will be drawing on so make sure it is the active layer by clicking on it.

2.  Pick you paintbrush tool, set at size one, and draw the outline by following the picture.

These are the colors that I used, but feel free to choose your own.
 #623827 for the body and #000000 for the nose.

 

3.  Pick your flood fill tool (the bucket) and making sure that the 'sample merged' box is checked, fill in your outline.

These are the colors that I used but feel free to choose your own.

Ears/muzzle #A05C44
Body/back legs #BC7E62
Front legs/chin #EFDDD7

NOW FOR THE SHADING

4.  With your magic wand, select the head.

Selections > Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout
with these settings:

Vertical = 3
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 50
Blur = 6
Shade = # 623826

Deselect.

5.  With your magic wand, select the left shoulder (your left)

Selections > Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout
with these settings:

Vertical = 1
Horizontal = 1
Opacity = 50
Blur = 6
Shade = # 623826

Deselect.

6.  With your magic wand, select the right shoulder.

Selections > Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout
with these settings:

Vertical = 1
Horizontal = -1
Opacity = 50
Blur = 6
Shade = # 623826

Deselect.

7. With your magic wand, select the left back leg.

Selections > Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout
with these settings:

Vertical = 1
Horizontal = -1
Opacity = 50
Blur = 6
Shade = # 623826

Deselect.

8.  With your magic wand, select the right back leg.

Selections > Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout
with these settings:

Vertical = 1
Horizontal = 1
Opacity = 50
Blur = 6
Shade = # 623826

Deselect.

9.  With your magic wand, select the left ear.

Selections > Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout
with these settings:

Vertical = 1
Horizontal = 1
Opacity = 75
Blur = 6
Shade = # 623826

Deselect.

10.  With your magic wand, select the right ear.

Selections > Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout
with these settings:

Vertical = 1
Horizontal = -1
Opacity = 75
Blur = 6
Shade = # 623826

Deselect.

11.  With your magic wand, select the muzzle.

Selections > Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout
with these settings:

Vertical = 1
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 75
Blur = 6
Shade = # 623826

Deselect.

12. With your magic wand, select the chest/front legs.

Selections > Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout
with these settings:

Vertical = -1
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 50
Blur = 6
Shade = # 623826

Deselect.

13.  With your magic wand, select the chin.

Selections > Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout
with these settings:

Vertical = -1
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 50
Blur = 4
Shade = # 623826

Deselect.

14.  Create a new raster layer and with your paintbrush set at size one, draw in the features by following the picture.
These are the colors I used:

Brow #623826
Around eye #502E20
Pupil/nose shine #C0C0C0, #808080, #404040, #000000

15.  With your flood fill tool (the bucket) fill in the flash with #EFDDD7.  You may need to increase the tolerance or you can just paint it in with your paintbrush!

16.  With your magic wand, select the flash.

Selections > Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout
with these settings:

Vertical = 1
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 30
Blur = 4
Shade = # 623826

Deselect.

Save as a .psp file for future use.
