Bear Hugs

HERE

1. Open a transparent canvas of
150 x 150 pixels. Flood fill this with white and
then create a second raster layer, this is the layer
that we will be drawing on so make sure it is the active
layer by clicking on it.
2. Pick your paintbrush set at
size one and draw the outline by following the picture.
I used #C8875C for the lighter bear
and #CAAEA8 for the darker bear.
(The blue numbers are 'section' numbers, mainly for the
shading)

3. Pick your flood fill tool
(the bucket) and making sure that the 'sample merged'
box is checked, fill in your bears.
I used:
#F4DED0 for the light bear.
#CAAEA8 for the darker bear.
#E1B99E for section 8.
#8D5C4C for section 15. NOW FOR THE
SHADING 4. With your
selection tool (the magic wand) select section 1. Selections
> Float > Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout Using
these settings: Vertical = 1
Horizontal = 4
Opacity = 85
Blur = 14
Shade = #D5A07D
Keep selected and apply a second
cutout using these settings:
Vertical = -4
Horizontal = 3
Opacity = 85
Blur = 10
Shade = #D5A07D Deselect. 5.
With your selection tool (the magic wand) select section
2. Selections > Float > Effects
> 3D Effects > Cutout Using these
settings: Vertical = -1
Horizontal = 3
Opacity = 80
Blur = 9
Shade = #D5A07D
Keep selected and apply a second
cutout using these settings:
Vertical = 1
Horizontal = -5
Opacity = 90
Blur = 9
Shade = #D5A07D
Deselect. 6.
With your selection tool (the magic wand) select section
3. Selections > Float > Effects
> 3D Effects > Cutout Using these
settings: Vertical = -4
Horizontal = 5
Opacity = 85
Blur = 10
Shade = #D5A07D Deselect. 7.
With your selection tool (the magic wand) select section
4. Selections > Float > Effects
> 3D Effects > Cutout Use the
same settings as for section 4 8.
With your selection tool (the magic wand) select section
5. Selections > Float > Effects
> 3D Effects > Cutout Using these
settings: Vertical = -2
Horizontal = -4
Opacity = 85
Blur = 7
Shade = #D5A07D Deselect. 9.
With your selection tool (the magic wand) select section
6. Selections > Float > Effects
> 3D Effects > Cutout Using these
settings: Vertical = -2
Horizontal = 1
Opacity = 85
Blur = 7
Shade = #D5A07D Deselect. 10.
With your selection tool (the magic wand) select section
7. Selections > Float > Effects
> 3D Effects > Cutout Using these
settings: Vertical = -3
Horizontal = 3
Opacity = 80
Blur = 6
Shade = #D5A07D Deselect. 11.
With your selection tool (the magic wand) select section
9. Selections > Float > Effects
> 3D Effects > Cutout Using these
settings: Vertical = -4
Horizontal = 2
Opacity = 90
Blur = 15
Shade = #7B4431 Deselect. 12.
With your selection tool (the magic wand) select section
10. Selections > Float > Effects
> 3D Effects > Cutout Using these
settings: Vertical = -10
Horizontal = 10
Opacity = 90
Blur = 21
Shade = #7B4431 Keep selected and apply
a second cutout using these settings: Vertical
= 2
Horizontal = -3
Opacity = 75
Blur = 9
Shade = #7B4431 Deselect. 13.
With your selection tool (the magic wand) select section
11. Selections > Float > Effects
> 3D Effects > Cutout Using these
settings: Vertical = -4
Horizontal = 8
Opacity = 90
Blur = 13
Shade = #7B4431 Deselect. 14.
With your selection tool (the magic wand) select section
12. Selections > Float > Effects
> 3D Effects > Cutout Use the
same settings as you used for section 11. 15.
With your selection tool (the magic wand) select section
13. Selections > Float > Effects
> 3D Effects > Cutout Using these
settings: Vertical = -3
Horizontal = -1
Opacity = 80
Blur = 4
Shade = #7B4431 Deselect. 16.
With your selection tool (the magic wand) select section
14. Selections > Float > Effects
> 3D Effects > Cutout Using these
settings: Vertical = -3
Horizontal = 4
Opacity = 80
Blur = 6
Shade = #7B4431 Deselect. 17.
Back to your paintbrush at size one, draw in some
features on the light bear.
I used #5D2E1F. 
Save
as a .psp file for future use. That's
it, you're done!
