Banner Mouse

To make this banner
mouse, all you need is PSP.
1. Open a blank
canvas of 100 X 100 pixels. Flood fill this with
white and them make a second raster layer. This is
the layer that we will be drawing on so make sure it is
the active layer by clicking on it.
2. Draw the
outline. These are the colors that I chose but
please feel free to to pick your own.
Body: #COCOCO
Banner: #66F8CD
Tail and Feet: #F1B8AF

4. Pick your
flood fill tool and making sure that the 'sample merged'
box is checked, fill in your mouse.
These are the colors that I chose:
Body, tail and feet: #FFFFFF
Banner: #C5F1E4
NOW FOR THE SHADING
5. With your
magic wand, select the head.
Selections > Float
> Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout.
With these settings:
Vertical = 2
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 80
Blur = 9
Shade = #C0C0C0
Deselect.
6. With your
magic wand, select the arms.
Selections > Float
> Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout.
With these settings:
Vertical = 2
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 70
Blur = 5
Shade = #C0C0C0
Deselect.
7. With your
magic wand, select the legs.
Selections > Float
> Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout.
With these settings:
Vertical = 0
Horizontal = 1
Opacity = 75
Blur = 6
Shade = #C0C0C0
Repeat this cutout
changing the horizontal to -1 (minus one)
Deselect.
8. With your
magic wand, select the banner.
Selections > Float
> Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout.
With these settings:
Vertical = 0
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 70
Blur = 9
Shade = #OED69B
Deselect.
9. With your
magic wand, select the tail.
Selections > Float
> Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout.
With these settings:
Vertical = -2
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 100
Blur = 4
Shade = #F1B8AF
Repeat this cutout
changing the vertical to 1.
Deselect.
10. With your
magic wand, select the left foot (Your left).
Selections > Float
> Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout.
With these settings:
Vertical = 0
Horizontal = 1
Opacity = 90
Blur = 4
Shade = #F1B8AF
Repeat this cutout
changing the horizontal to -1 (minus one).
Deselect.
11. With your
magic wand, select the right foot (your right).
Selections > Float
> Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout.
With these settings:
Vertical = 0
Horizontal = 1
Opacity = 90
Blur = 4
Shade = #F1B8AF
Repeat this cutout
changing the Horizontal to 1- (minus one)
Deselect.
12. Make a third
raster layer and draw in the features.
These are the colors
that I chose:
Eye brow/mouth/nose:
#C0C0C0
Teeth outline: #EAC995
Teeth 'inside': #FFFFFF
Pink of eyes: #E36251
'white' of eyes: #F8DFDC
Ears: #F1B8AF

13. Fill in both
of the inner of the ears with #F8DFDC
14. With your
magic wand, select the left inner ear (Your left).
Selections > Float
> Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout.
With these settings:
Vertical = -1
Horizontal = -1
Opacity = 90
Blur = 3
Shade = #F1B8AF
Deselect.
15. With
your magic wand, select the right inner ear (Your
right).
Selections > Float
> Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout.
With these settings:
Vertical = -1
Horizontal = 1
Opacity = 90
Blur = 3
Shade = #F1B8AF
Deselect.
16. Hide the very
bottom layer (the one we filled in with white) and then
merge visible.
Save as a psp. file.
That's it...... You're
done!
