I have a foxtrotter horse that only hard trots. It was shod with plates at a 55 degree angle. It works the bit some but still won't gait. Is it just that this horse won't fox trot or is there something wrong with the way she is shod. If so, what angles should be used to correct her problem?

ANSWER

PUT IT ON A 50 ON THE BACK END WITH A ONE SIZE BIGGER SHOE ON TO LET THE FOOT SLIDE . THEN GET ON THE BIT . Keith
