Grad Prix Scoring:
Points based on number of participants in a given race.
1) First place in a race with 15 runners earns 15 points. First place out
of 7 runners earns 7 points.
2) Total score is based on each runners best 4 finishing places.
3) Athlete must run 4 of 6 races including Championship to qualify for end
of season awards.
Grand Prix tie breaking system:
1) Head-to-head competition over the entire season.
2) Total Points in head-to-head competition. This will be based on at least
four races and as many as six.
3) Time Differential in head-to-head competition.
4) If there is still a tie the results of the Championship will break the
tie.
