This introductory course is aimed at those analysts and programmers who will be concerned with designing and developing systems using the SB+ systems development tools.

The Course is also suitable for non-technical users who have worked on a MultiValue system and need to be able to produce – or get involved in the development of – their own computer application systems using SB+

This Course is suitable for anyone working on SB+ systems.

Prerequisites: A familiarity with MultiValue systems to the level reached on one of the foundation courses PICK1: Starting Pick or AP1: Moving to D³ or AP2: Starting D³ would be an advantage

Contents: We cover the general principles of SB+, and all the stages involved in the design and development of a computer application using SB+ including:

  • Process Definitions

  • Query Reports

  • Report Writer reports

  • Paragraphs

  • Basic subroutines

We also discuss the mechanical aspects of developing SB+ systems:
